Octree valve, which takes localization of imported products as its sales strategy, positioned at the top of China’s domestic valve industry. This is where we started, and what we persist in.
I will write an article to review and encourage at the end of each year. Those articles have witnessed the growth of Octree.
Recall 2023, I have mixed feelings thoughout the year. Octree was active at the beginning after the COVID-19 lockdown was lifted, then stick around at the middle of the year, ended the year with a busy period; It seems to have experienced four seasons. Compared with 2022, Octree achieved an almost 30% increase in actual delivery.
As I always say, based on the development of steel & iron industry,the future trend will be towards fewer front-line workers, and intelligent manufacturing play a more important role in the production, which requires more reliable and accurate equipment. At the same time, as steel & iron industry enters a downturn, cost control will be crucial. Under the circumstances, our products are more in line with customer inner needs.
Instead of changing customers’ habitual thoughts, we become better at ourselves while we wait and persevere. I stumbled upon a short video of speeches given by renowned entrepreneurs, which emphasized the importance of Chinese enterprises adhering to long-termism and utilizing product power as a driving force in the market. I think Octree has never lacked these genes, but the Chinese market needs a nourishing soil that can cultivate and foster them.
During the cold times, wise men think about how to survive. People no longer rely on a broken straw mat for temporary warmth, knowing all too well that last-minute efforts often fail.
Our mission is to create new value for customers. This mission is particularly precious during the economic downturn in both China and the iron & steel industry.
Creating new value for customers means:
If a customer uses imported products at a certain process point, Octree can provide products as same quality as the imported one. In addition to ensuring the stability and reliability of our customers' production systems, our cost-effective products help them control costs.
If a customer uses a domestic product at a certain process point, but it’s not very stable, Octree can offer a product more suited to that condition. Although the price per purchase might be higher, it can make the production system more stable and reliable while reducing production line losses and maintenance costs. Setting a reasonable time period can also significantly reduce equipment procurement costs.
In 2023, we truly embraced our mission and continued to rapidly gain customers who recognize our value.
The Taiwan Pingnan Xi Xing Stainless Steel Large Coil Project by CISDI General Contracting has successfully completed its hot trial;
The Algerian RH Refining Project contracted by SINOSTEEL;
On Lingyuan Special Steel's steelmaking oxygen lance top-blowing system project, our quick shut-off valve helps users solve on-site application problems;
Jiangsu Yonggang's No. 6 special steel project and No. 5 water cooling system control valve;
Qingdao Special Steel's No. 4 high-wire water cooling system uses our newly launched WCVG-1 modular water cooling valve station and has been successfully launched;
Baowu Xinyu Steel's thin plate silicon steel division hot rolling layer cooling transformation project;
Nine-tenths of domestic special steel users have successively launched Octree's uniquely innovative products.

We are heartened to see that every seed we have carefully sown is sprouting and every sapling is thriving robustly.
